TikTok extends Out of Phone to France
The 25 august, TikTok announced the European extension of its Out of Phone program. France is one of the markets concerned: TikTok designer content can be amplified on physical screens, including in shopping centres, wellness centres, supermarkets, bars and universities. TikTok also cites opportunities to sponsor and extend advertising to the outdoor digital display.
What it can change: For French brands and creators, TikTok content designed to be understood without sound, readable in a second and visually identifiable can now also become non-application campaign assets. This is not an automatic broadcast for all accounts: it is an opportunity via TikTok advertising partners and devices.

Google offers an integrated button to become a favorite source
The 20 august, Google presented a Preferred Sources button that publishers can integrate into their pages. When a player uses it, the site is added to its preferred sources. Google indicates that these sources can be further highlighted in Top Stories, AI Overviews and AI Mode.
What it can change: For VIFLY and creators who publish regularly, the priority remains to produce identifiable and useful content, and then to encourage loyal readers to follow them directly. The button does not replace SEO or editorial quality, but it creates a new lever of recurring relationship with already convinced readers.

Google Ads adds A/B tests and forecasts for AI Max
Google announced the 20 august new AI Max tools for search campaigns: multi-campaign A/B tests on ROI's budgets and objectives, scheduled for September, as well as brand and location checks in the experiments. Performance Planner also makes it possible to estimate the effect of budget changes or auctions and apply them from the tool.
What it can change: Self-employed people investing in Search Ads should avoid turning the Max AI on blind. Prepare a control campaign, set a real result indicator such as lead or reservation, and then compare before changing budgets. The deployment of A/B tests is announced in September, not as an immediate universal availability.

OpenAI extends ChatGPT for Teachers to more American districts
The 26 august, OpenAI announced the arrival of ChatGPT for Teachers in 55 education systems in the United States, i.e. more 100 000 educators and additional staff. The service remains reserved for teachers K-12 audited in the United States and OpenAI highlights a managed environment, role controls and data usage that is not used to drive default models.
What it can change: This announcement does not make this program accessible in France. However, it confirms that the professional value of AI for trainers is as much played on practical usage, confidentiality and governance as on content generation: adapting a medium, preparing a communication or saving administrative time.

The 24 august, Meta launched an Edits Film Festival in India. Participants 45 days to publish an original Reel made entirely with Edits, the video creation application fromInstagram. The initiative is limited to India and is not the global launch of a feature or contest.
