Google specifies the regional differences of Google Search: check your visibility country by country

Google has added documentation on research experiences that vary from country to country. For creators and companies targeting multiple markets, the same page may not benefit from the same modules, eligibility criteria or visibility opportunities depending on the geographical area.

Our method: distinguishing facts, citing sources and calmly explaining what can really change for creators, independent and digital professionals.

Google adds documentation on Search experiences that differ from country to country

The 8 september 2026Google Search Central added documentation dedicated to regional differences in Google Search. In particular, it covers experiences available only in certain countries, such as aggregate modules, suppliers and carousels, as well as eligibility and participation requirements. This is not an announced change to the ranking algorithm: Google clarifies above all that the features visible in the results and the possibilities to appear there may depend on the country of search.

What it can change: If you sell or publish for more than one country, do not deduct your international visibility from a single SERP. Control your key queries from each targeted market, adapt local pages when relevant, and check the specific criteria for the displayed modules.
