Meta Muse acts in place of the user: what it changes for the independents

A major announcement of the week still deserves our attention: Meta deploys in the United States a personal agent capable of acting in a browser and applications, beyond the simple conversational response. For creators and independents, the issue is not an immediate availability in France, but the way in which a clear, verifiable and easy to reserve offer could be understood by these new intermediaries.

Our method: distinguishing facts, citing sources and calmly explaining what can really change for creators, independent and digital professionals.

Meta launches Muse, a personal agent able to act on the Web, first in the United States

In its September 8 announcement, Meta presents Muse as a personal agent who can use a browser, fill out forms, help book a trip or advance on a task while the user is absent. It can be requested in its application or via WhatsApp. Meta indicates that a confirmation is required before certain sensitive actions, such as sending an email or a purchase, and that the user chooses the access granted. The deployment currently concerns the United States on iOS, Android and muse.ai; no French availability is announced. The privacy protections described are those claimed by Meta, not an independent guarantee.

What it can change: Do not present Muse as available in France. Instead, check that your services clearly display prices, terms, availability, contact and booking: this is useful information for any customer, whether he discovers your offer himself or with the help of an agent.
