OpenAI will test visual ads during image generation in ChatGPT
OpenAI will test later in October, in the United States and with a first group of advertisers, a visual advertising format displayed during the generation of images in ChatGPT. Advertising will be reported and separated from the image created; OpenAI states that it will not influence the answers. The company also adds conversion data connections, attribution partners and uncreative experimentation. These measures are still under development and the results cited come from partners. Companies can register, but OpenAI does not yet announce the availability of this new format in France.
What it can change: Do not program a French campaign on this format yet. Instead, prepare visuals that immediately show the use of your offer, make sure to track conversions and measure the sales actually additional rather than the only clicks.

OpenAI will water some texts of ChatGPT and Codex in the European Union
OpenAI will add in the coming weeks an invisible statistical watermark, called textGrain, to the eligible text releases of ChatGPT and Codex for users of all packages in the European Union. From 5 October, some API clients around the world can activate on selected models; it remains disabled by default. The detector will first be accessible only to approved researchers and expert organisations. OpenAI recognises false positives and false negatives, as well as a sharp deterioration of the signal after rewriting: a detection does not prove the author, the property or the accuracy of the text.
What it can change: Keep your sources, drafts and editing steps to document your human contribution. Never present a detection result as a certain proof of authorship, originality, legality or truthfulness.
