Google increases links in AI Mode and tests designer names clickable
Google announced on October 15 several evolutions of IA Mode and d Google also tests, in the video results of AI Mode, names of creators and clickable editors leading to their Search profiles. These profiles are currently available only in Canada, India and the United States. Their creation requires 10 000 subscribers at least on YouTube, Instagram, X or TikTok; Google states that a profile does not directly improve the ranking.
What it can change: Strengthen the signals that clearly link your identity, brand and content: author page, legal mentions, consistent network data, links to the official website and assigned videos. In France, prepare these foundations without presenting Search profiles as an already accessible function.

Google reports paying more 400 publications in its AI News pilot program
Google states that more than 400 publications worldwide are now participating in its AI News Licensing Pilot Program. The partners provide enriched content used to develop, among other things, detailed overviews of articles on Google News publishing pages and customizable audio briefings. Google indicates paying for participating publications and promises clear attribution and direct links. The advertisement does not specify any amounts, complete selection criteria or procedure for independent creators or publishers to apply. It is therefore a programme of selected partners, not a general remuneration for the content used by the AI.
What it can change: Always distinguish quote, traffic and license. Keep author evidence, canonical URLs, own metadata and explicit re-use conditions, but do not build revenue forecasts on this driver as long as no access route is published.

ChatGPT Voice deploys GPT-Live-1.1 and new French voices
OpenAI has been deploying since 15 October GPT-Live-1.1 and GPT-Live-1.1 Quip, its compact version, in ChatGPT Voice. The company announces more natural accents in several languages and a wider range of short sentences used by the assistant when conducting a search. New voice options are available in French, as well as in German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Mexican Spanish. OpenAI states that visible voices may vary by account and region. The selection is made in Settings, then Voice.
What it can change: Test new voices to repeat a presentation, structure a script or explore an idea orally. Check their presence on your own account before building a production process that depends on it.
