Gemini Notebook has its creations validated before rendering, while Lightroom saves and frames mobile photos

Two official novelties published on October 19 directly improve creation flows. Google adds a co-creation step before rendering presentations or videos, while Adobe facilitates the correction of a portrait and the adaptation of an image to social formats from Lightroom mobile.

Our method: distinguishing facts, citing sources and calmly explaining what can really change for creators, independent and digital professionals.

Gemini Notebook adds validation step before the generation of slides and videos

Gemini Notebook can now propose, from the sources of the project, the themes of a slideshow or video before their production. After confirmation, the user can guide the content, visual style and format. A Review mode also allows you to read and edit slide plan notes or video production notes, for example to add an executive summary or reorder a scene. Fast rendering without rereading remains possible. Google deploys these functions worldwide to all Gemini Notebook users during the week.

What it can change: Use the validation phase to lock the lens, audience, order of ideas and format before rendering: this step reduces late corrections and facilitates the production of consistent training or presentations.

Lightroom mobile launches Open Eyes and Generative Expand

Adobe adds two tools to Lightroom mobile. Open Eyes detects closed eyes and proposes a correction in one action; If other photos of the person are present in the Lightroom library, the tool can lean on their color, shape and size to improve fidelity. Adobe says Open Eyes is free. Generative Expand extends the decor beyond the original frame in order to modify the composition or adapt an image to another ratio, especially for social networks. Adobe does not specify in this announcement that Generative Expand is free.

What it can change: Test Open Eyes on a hard-to-redo portrait and use Generative Expand to decline the same visual into multiple ratios, then manually control the eyes, faces and details generated before publication.
