Canva opens its Craft model to all, while Twitch extends lives with summaries

Canva now puts its own image model in the hands of all its users, with a real design orientation and formats adapted to marketing content. In addition, an official announcement that is still immediately useful from Twitch shows how to turn the best moments of a direct into sustainable content between two broadcasts.

Our method: distinguishing facts, citing sources and calmly explaining what can really change for creators, independent and digital professionals.

Canva launches Craft, its first internal image generation model

Canva makes available Craft, its first image generation model developed and driven by Canva Research. Available now to all users in Dream Lab and developers via a public API, it produces images up to 2K in more than 30 formats, accepts prompts in all languages and can generate text in 55 languages. Its architecture first plans composition, hierarchy and typography before rendering. The images can then be converted into editable elements with Magic Layers. The MCP Canva server is announced, but is yet to come.

What it can change: Test Craft on a real case — coverage, advertising or carousel — then compare the time saved and the number of corrections needed. Always check the texts, brand consistency, visual details and applicable rights before publication.

Twitch turns live clips into Stream Recaps

Twitch introduces Stream Recaps, a montage of selected clips after a live. The creator can start from clips made by himself or his editors, then add, remove, reframe, edit subtitles or adjust the layout. The summary appears at the top of the subscribers' mobile wire and remains visible on the channel page. Reactions and comments also help to spot sequences to republish elsewhere, while Twitch can recommend some clips in its Clips and Live feeds.

What it can change: Prepare moments that are easy to isolate during the direct, use the clip creation command if available, and quickly publish a short summary. Then reuse the sequences that get the most reactions on your other networks.
