Forum simplifies Facebook group management, but remains reserved for the US

No solid official announcement of the last 24 hours has been made. This edition therefore retains the most useful recent information from the seven-day window: Meta strengthens Forum to help group administrators moderate, plan and collaborate, with a major limit to know — the application remains available only in the United States.

Our method: distinguishing facts, citing sources and calmly explaining what can really change for creators, independent and digital professionals.

Meta strengthens Forum with AI-assisted moderation and shared calendar

Meta announced on October 23 new tools for Forum, its application linked to Facebook groups. Admin AI can now compare pending publications to the rules defined by the administrator, report those that appear to be compliant or problematic and propose drafts to be read again. Admin Assist allows to combine several moderation conditions, while management teams have a shared calendar. It can also prepare and program up to five publications at one time. Decisions remain under the control of the directors. Essential point: Forum is currently only downloadable in the US on iOS and Android.

What it can change: If you are administering a group in the United States, formalize your rules before enabling these aids, keep a human validation and use the common calendar to avoid duplication. Outside the United States, these functions are not yet available: take advantage of them to document rules, roles and editorial processes now.
