Spotify launches Memberships for podcasts in France
Spotify deploys Memberships in 34 markets, including France, for podcasts hosted on Spotify for Creators or Megaphone. Eligible creators can offer exclusive audio or video content, bonus episodes, early access, less advertising or archives, with multiple price levels, free essays and promotional tools. Spotify indicates that creators retain 90 % revenue generated. Access starts with three published episodes, 100 listeners or spectators and 100 hours consumed on Spotify during 30 last days. Members can share their contact information, which the creator can export.
What it can change: Check your eligibility in Spotify for Creators or Megaphone, then test a simple offer before adding multiple levels. Compare above all the margin, recoverable data and dependence on Spotify with your own subscription or member area.

Spotify enhances the visibility of human artists against the spam generated by IA
Spotify claims to have withdrawn in 2026 more than 50 million securities assimilated to slop or spam of its recommendations, in addition to 75 million securities removed from the platform for serious or repeated violations. More 300 000 artists are now verified, including more 70 % independent artists. Artistic identities considered to be generated by IA receive a badge and are excluded by default from editorial and algorithmic recommendations, unless the listener voluntarily signals. The profile protection, still in beta, must be open to all artists before end 2026.
What it can change: If you publish music, complete the credits related to the AI, ask for verification of your identity and activate profile protection as soon as it appears. These signals reinforce attribution and reduce the risk of third-party content being associated with your name.

OpenAI generalizes API decisions for automated microdecisions
OpenAI makes API decisions available to all developers for limited decisions such as classifying an entry, choosing a route or selecting an action. The API accepts text, images and JSON, can process up to 400] questions per query and returns a probability, choice or score among answers defined in advance. OpenAI announces a run up to ten times faster than GPT-6 Luna via API Responses. Regional treatment is proposed in the United States and the European Union; the announced pricing is 0,10 dollar per million of input chips, without any invoiced output chips.
What it can change: Reserve this API with repetitive and clearly defined choices: sorting requests, routing prospects, checking a form or selecting a next action. Keep human validation for sensitive decisions and test your thresholds on real cases.
