Instagram test "Features", a long horizontal video format
Instagram is experimenting with "Features", a horizontal format for long content such as podcasts, shows and shows, with videos up to 90 minutes. The platform also tests short excerpts that refer to the full version, organizing Reels in series and a better discovery of directs. The deployment remains very limited: small test in the United States and access granted to certain creators in Brazil. Instagram did not announce revenue sharing; pre-roll or mid-roll advertising remains a study track, not a function available.
What it can change: Prepare an episode architecture and a short + long version teaser duo, but don't move your entire video strategy yet. The format remains experimental, geographically limited and without a confirmed compensation model.

OpenAI launches GPT-6.1 Terra in ChatGPT Work, Codex, and API
OpenAI presents GPT-6.1 Terra as a fast and efficient model for visual reasoning, computer usage, writing and code. It includes proposals, analysis of plans, filling of forms and video editing. Terra is now available for Plus, Pro, Enterprise and Edu subscribers in ChatGPT Work and Codex, as well as in the API under the name gpt-6.1-terra. The standard rate announced is 1 dollar per million tokens in entry, 0,05 dollar for cache entries and 5 dollars per million tokens in release; OpenAI does not publish any specific geographical restrictions on the page.
What it can change: Test Terra on a real and measurable stream — commercial proposal, form control, visual sorting or editing — then compare quality, duration and cost with your current model. Reserve Sol or Astra for complex tasks if Terra is not enough.

YouTube Shopping opens Amazon affiliate in three MENA markets
YouTube launches its Shopping Affiliate program with Amazon in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. The creators eligible for the YouTube Partner Program can participate from 500 subscribers and add products to their long, short and direct videos. Google also announces suggestions for IA-assisted products, tags that can be used by buyers of participating markets and a TV purchase route via QR code. This opening does not concern France.
What it can change: If your audience is in these three countries, check your YPP eligibility and structure your demonstrations around clearly identifiable products. Elsewhere, prepare catalogues, tags and commercial transparency: YouTube gradually brings content, affiliation and purchase closer.
