1
Distinguished creation of UGC and diffusion of influence
In a UGC creation performance, a brand primarily commands content to be used in a defined setting. In an influential collaboration, dissemination to your audience is part of the delivery. The same person may propose both, but expectations and conditions must remain distinct.
A creator who does not sell a broadcast does not need to put his number of subscribers at the centre of his presentation. He must show that he knows how to understand a brief, realize exploitable content and respect agreed conditions. A brand can enjoy your style without trying to touch your subscribers.
Before preparing your page, choose what you actually propose: product demonstration, use explanation, video face camera or photography. The content generated by users is a broader set than the pay-for-service. The examples of Shopify show in particular brand-side uses; Your portfolio must explain your specific role.

2
Create honest personal demonstrations
Leave an object that you can film correctly and an understandable problem. For a gourd, show the grip or cleaning, without asserting an unverified property. You can do a style exercise without pretending the brand ordered you.
Prepare three different examples by their objective: to make a function understood, to show use and to remove a concrete objection. Three different sets with the same speech provide less evidence than three problems actually dealt with. The variety must make your know-how legible.
Display "personal creation not ordered" when this is the case. No customer logo, no testimony, no sales indicator you can't justify. If you publish the content publicly, check the rights of the images, people, sounds and brand elements used. A portfolio is not a waiver of authorization.
3
Explain the choices behind each video
A project sheet can be held in six lines: objective, public, constraint, angle, deliverables and project status. Add what the player should observe in the video. "The foreground shows the storage problem before presenting the product" is more instructive than "authentic and engaging video".
If you have authorized and reliable results, specify the period, the scope and your role. A video used in a campaign does not allow you to attribute sales to your editing alone. If you don't have data, describe the realization and assumptions to test; an honest demonstration remains useful.
Choose a readable cover and avoid automatic playback with sound. A brand that looks on the phone must understand your universe without downloading large files. Keep the detailed videos accessible, but place the best examples before the long personal explanations.
4
Facilitates the brief and secures the continuation
Finish the page with a specific action: request a quote or send a brief. The form can request the product, target, deliverables, media, dates and indicative budget. This information makes it possible to check the adequacy before promising a deadline.
Don't confuse Media Kit and portfolio. The first synthesizes your positioning, references and relevant data; The second one shows your work. They can complement each other in a LinkHub, but access to a video should not require searching among fifteen links of the same importance.
Before a mission, clarify in writing the deliverables, returns, schedule, usages and terms of payment. For collaborations under commercial influence in France, consult the updated official guide. The rules vary according to the performance; have a complex agreement checked instead of copying a contract found at random.

A concrete case, not a promise of results
Three personal examples to prepare without false customers
| Example | Question resolved | Proof of creation | Honest mention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Demonstration | How does the product use itself? | Close-up of the gesture, then result | Personal creation not ordered |
| Practical objection | Is it easy to store? | Situation with visible dimensions | No claimed commercial result |
| Explanation face camera | Who can use this object? | Clear message and relevant cutting plans | Characteristics verified before shooting |
Your next move
Write your first project sheet
Fill in the four lines with your own case. Nothing is sent or saved: the content stays on this page and disappears when reloading. Copy your brief if you want to keep it.

Checklist
These boxes are used to reread your work, not to rate your level.
A personal creation looks like a professional advertisement. Can you present the brand as a customer?
No. The quality of the result does not turn an exercise into an order. Indicates his status and explains the demonstrated skills.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we create a UGC portfolio without a customer?
Yes, with personal projects clearly presented as such. Shows concrete delivery choices and deliverables without inventing collaboration or results.
Does it take a lot of subscribers to sell UGC creation?
The number of subscribers is not the core of a creative service without broadcasting. The brand must be able to assess your work and its suitability for the brief.
How many videos show in his portfolio?
Start with a few distinct and relevant examples. Three annotated projects are a starting exercise, not a market standard.
