Choose based on what the supporter receives
If a supporter wants regular access to resources, compare plan presentation, exclusive publishing and renewal terms. If they only want to support you, check the tipping journey and its fees. If they want one specific guide, examine one-off sales.
A tip is not automatically a membership, and recurring payments do not always offer the same benefits. Explain exactly what content or support is offered before choosing a platform.
Compare fees on the same transaction type
For an illustrative €100 in revenue, a 10% platform rate is €10, 8% is €8 and 5% is €5. This comparison does not calculate the net payout: fixed fees, taxes, currency conversion and plan terms can change the result.
Do not compare a free tipping rate with a paid content sales rate. Use the same amount, currency and purchase type. Check official pricing when deciding; the figures above were verified on 10 October 2026.
Test the buyer journey before moving your audience
Prepare an example offer and open its journey on a phone. Does the supporter understand what they are paying for? Can they find access duration and any renewal terms? Do they know how to contact you? The headline fee does not answer these questions.
Changing a link does not automatically transfer memberships, payments or access rights. Check migration options and inform affected people before moving an existing offer.
