When staying with Patreon may make sense
If your activity relies on member conversations, native video, podcasts or newsletters, review the Patreon features you already use. A lower percentage does not replace an essential feature or automatically offset migration work.
Compare fees without promising income
On a shared illustrative base of €200, 5% is €10 and 10% is €20. The calculator isolates this fee. Payment fees, taxes, currency conversion, refunds and options still need checking; each platform's actual calculation base may differ.
Do not assume your Patreon account pays 10%. Check its current plan: legacy pages can have different terms. Consult official pricing before making a decision.
Prepare a transition without cutting off access
Test a new offer on a phone before inviting your audience. Preserve purchased access, check renewals and explain exactly what changes. A new link does not automatically transfer memberships or payment authorisations.
